Yoghurt Sundae for Mother’s Day

Last week Michelle joined a group of eight children at Young Academics early learning centres to run a hands-on cooking workshop. The day was packed with lots of fun and colour and the children learnt how to prepare a yummy yet nourishing breakfast for their Mums on Mother’s Day - Yoghurt Sundaes! Check out the simple recipe below.

Serves 1

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped seasonal fruit (kiwi fruit, strawberries, banana, pear and blueberries)

  • 3/4 cup vanilla greek yoghurt

  • 3 tbsp rolled oats or muesli

  • 1 tbsp passionfruit pulp

Method: 

  1. Layer spoonfuls of yoghurt, oats (or muesli) and fruit into a clear tall cup

  2. Top with more fruit and a drizzle of passionfruit pulp to serve

  3. Enjoy!
